Hearts I Round Robin 2009

The Hearts I Round Robin began in January 2009 and finished mid-year.  It was actually such a popular theme, that a second (Hearts II) round robin was started in February.  That one will be blogged separately.

Come and check out some of the fantastic needlework that was done in the Hearts I Round Robin.  It was definitely the early highlight of the 2009 year, and loads of compliments go to the participants:  Gerry K, Diane "Dimity", Kim, Lindy, Marya and Leslie (who was the RR Angel and was called in to finish up some work).

FFT - Fabulous First-Timer's "Sampler" RR

This round robin, which also ended in early 2009, was one of the first FFT - Fabulous First-Timer's -  Round Robins.  In fact, it was FFT#2, also called the FFT Sampler RR.  At CQI, newbies are asked to complete a newbie round robin before participating with the group at large.  However, many new members are not new to crazy quilting, but just new to the list.  So, in order for them to "earn their wings", they must first complete a FFT, or Fabulous First-Timer's RR.
